Before beginning RDTC you will need a CDL Learner’s Permit. It will be issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) upon completion of a written exam that tests your knowledge in three subject areas: general knowledge pertaining to commercial driving, combination vehicles and air brakes. (Hazmat is no longer required.) The State will charge a fee for the permit. Non-Wisconsin residents must take the test in their home state. If a DOT physical exam is required before the State will issue a permit, Roehl will assist you with arrangements for the physical.
Remember, the first step in the enrollment process is completing an application. Class sizes are intentionally kept small to provide the best learnig environment, so submit your application as soon as possible.
Congratulations and thank you for choosing RDTC and Roehl. We know that RDTC will put you safely on the road to success.
