The principles of success

Designed around easy-to-learn principles with lots of hands-on skill development, Roehl's Safety and Job Skills Training Program will teach you DOT motor carrier rules, trip planning, freight handling and company policies, all under the umbrella of our industry-leading protective driving safety program - The Roehl Way.

Our Safety and Job Skills Training Program is a three phase program. Phase 1 On-Site Training will be at a Roehl designated training facility. Phase 2 Over-The-Road training is performance based, one-on-one with a certified OTR professional. Upon successful completion of all components of both Phase 1 and Phase 2, you will progress to Phase 3 and be assigned your own truck. You'll also be working with a Fleet Coach who is just a phone call or satellite message away helping you continue moving ahead in your career.

Qualification day and the start of Safety and Job Skills Training

On qualification day you will complete a DOT drug test and a Non-DOT hair follicle drug test, in addition to a pre-work screening to determine you can safely perform essential job functions. Safety and Job Skills Training Phase 1 curriculum will begin following qualification day. You will move into Phase 2 Over-The-Road training upon your successful completion of Phase 1.
