WEEK 1 (Monday–Saturday)
Every journey begins with a first step. You’ll start yours by learning essential driving skills, motor carrier regulations, safety and some of the basic mechanical systems of a diesel tractor and trailer rig. And you’ll get plenty of hands-on practice in the classroom and behind the wheel at RDTC’s driving Range. You’ll hit the road for your first time by Thursday of this week as you begin to understand and practice basic backing skills.
